    Delegate Miley moves to amend the strike and insert amendment on page three, section twenty-five a, subsection (c)(4), line twenty-one, following the word “by”, by striking out the words “a licensed” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “an appropriate”,

    And,

    On page three, section twenty-five a, subsection (c)(4), line twenty-three, following the word “that”, by striking out the word “licensed” and inserting in lieu thereof, the word, “appropriate”,

    And,

    On page three, section twenty-five a, subsection (c)(4), line twenty-four, following the word “provider.”, by striking out the words “For the purposes of this section, a licensed health care provider shall be a medical doctor licensed under the provisions of article three, chapter thirty of this code, a doctor of osteopathy licensed under the provisions of article fourteen, chapter thirty of this code, an advanced registered nurse practitioner licensed under the provisions of article seven, chapter thirty of this code, a physicians assistant as licensed under the provisions of article three, chapter thirty of this code, and an athletic trainer certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification and registered under article twenty-a, chapter thirty of this code;” and inserting in lieu thereof, the words, “The West Virginia Secondary Schools Activities Commission shall establish a list of appropriate licensed health care providers and certified athletic trainers properly trained in the evaluation and management of concussions who are authorized to provide written clearance for the interscholastic athlete to return to play;”

    And,

    On page four, section twenty-five a, subsection (c)(5), line seventeen, following the word “from” by striking out the words “the licensed” and inserting in lieu thereof, the words, “an appropriate”.
